Lauren Boutin
Lauren specializes in residential real estate across Rochester and the greater Southeast Minnesota area. As a Rochester native, she brings a deep understanding of the local market to her clients, whether they’re buying, selling, or investing. Lauren is known for her passionate commitment to her clients’ best interests, combining strong negotiation skills with a warm and empathetic approach to make the process as stress-free as possible.
Since starting her career, Lauren has helped hundreds of homebuyers, sellers, and investors achieve their real estate goals. Before co-founding Boutin & Company, she spent four years as a licensed agent, closing nearly $20 million in volume, and was a licensed transaction coordinator for seven Metro KW offices. Since the launch of BoCo in 2020, the team has successfully closed over $71 million in total sales volume.
Prior to real estate, Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and worked in the restaurant industry for ten years.
An enthusiastic supporter of her community, Lauren loves exploring Rochester’s restaurants, music scene, and neighborhood festivals. She enjoys educating locals about craft beer and spending time outdoors with her two dogs, a Brittany Spaniel and a Goldendoodle, often at nearby state parks. Lauren’s husband, Zac, joined BoCo as a real estate agent, bringing his extensive experience as a licensed general contractor to the team. Together, they recently welcomed their miracle baby boy, Owen, the newest (and cutest!) member of their family.

Zac Boutin
Zac has been deeply involved in construction from an early age. Growing up, he worked with his father and family friends on remodeling and new construction projects, which ignited his passion for creating high-quality homes and helping others. Over the years, Zac has built everything from tiny homes to multi-family properties and single-family residences, as well as expertly renovating numerous houses. His talent for envisioning the finished product and delivering an exceptional client experience sets him apart.
Today, Zac specializes in building and selling residential real estate. Whether working with first-time homebuyers or seasoned investors, he thrives on connecting with clients on a personal level to fully understand their needs. Much of his success stems from the trust he has earned through strong relationships within the local community and referrals from satisfied clients.
Beyond real estate, Zac has a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoys activities such as land preparation, hunting waterfowl, deer, pheasants, turkeys, and grouse, as well as fishing on the Mississippi, local lakes, and even deep-sea fishing. Above all, Zac treasures being a devoted father to his son, Owen, and eagerly looks forward to sharing his outdoor passions with him as he grows.
